Vintage Wood Military Chest.
Beautiful original drab green paint. Solid wood with green metal hardware reinforcing corners and edges. Piece sits flat and flush. Removable lid works great. Has flush two way metal handles on sides. Piece is solid and can hold a lot of weight. Comes from smoke-free environment. Piece measures approx 32" long x 17" x 13.5” tall. Has nice original stencil on sides and name in orange on top. "Lt Colonel G.K. Mayhew".
