Vintage Art Carved Siladium w/Blue Cabochon Stone Nassau County Police 1966 NICE

Description

I am guessing this ring dates to 1966 as there are the numbers 66 on one side. The ring has a blue cabochon stone which is in very good condition, as is the ring on whole. There is an image of a left facing rearing lion etched (looks like) within the oval blue stone. The lion is part of the official Nassau County seal. Size looks to be 11.5 or 21mm. It is marked inside Art Carved Siladium and has engraved initials “BWB”. The casting of the rings reads NASSAU COUNTY above and below the blue stone. On the left side is the words HONESTY and INTEGRITY on a band above a set of scales (scales of justice) which sits on an open book. The right side has
66 broken in the middle with an eagle above a shield with the words POLICE DEPT surrounded by a ribbon with OBEDIENCE TO LAW IS LIBERTY.
