This is a lot of 16 GI issue climbing pitons. They are as seen
and are in solid shape but they’re grimy
. Some have US markings on them,
most
can’t
be seen anymore.

and letter codes stamped along with the US markings
. Checking online these
appear to be
the
type used in
WWII by the 10
th
Mountain Division
and for other mountaineering uses
