U.S.WW2 ENGINEER’S COMPASS W/ WATERPROOF BELT CASE, NICE!

SOLD TO U.S. BIDDERS ONLY! World War Two contract lensmatic compass manufactured by Superior Magneto for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Excellent finish on the case, outside and in. The compass still knows where North is but sometimes needs a tap on the bezel to help it. Some cloudiness on the bezel and a small area of staining on the inside bottom of the steel case. None of this interferes with using the compass as intended. Bezel turns as it should, cover snaps closed properly, etc. The waterproofed canvas case is issue free- no snags, pulled threads, holes etc. Nice clean hardware as well. I believe this set was never issued and has just sat in storage for many years. Please see the photos for anything I may have missed. From a smoke-free home.
