TURRET LATHE KNEE TOOL. DESC: Shop made by a lathe hand for sale exclusively on eBay. These knee tools have a 1 1/2 dia. shank with a 2" linear range of work, uses a 3/8 sq. tool bit (not included) centered. Made of cold roll steel. The knee tool is used in conjunction with a slide tool mounted on a turret, can be used right side up or upside down. They are used for relief cuts, chamfering, finish dia. etc. Do your work right from your turret instead of having to use a tool post w/a clumsy cross slide & apron/saddle. Tool bit secured with a 3/8-16 NC socket head cap screw, 5/16 Allen wrench req. (not included). DIMENSIONS: 2" W. X 7" OAL. 2" of work capacity, 3/8 sq. tool bit, shank 1 1/2 dia. X 3 1/2" long.
