RARE 1959 South Africa U.S. Army Tellurometer Micro-Distancer MRA1/CW/MV Serial No. 836/823

shown in the pictures.
** Pictures are of actual 1959 South Africa and stamped U.S. Army Tellurometer Micro-Distancer Set being sold. We know nothing about this unit and how it operates. Selling in the AS-IS Untested Condition with NO Returns, and NO Refunds. This is a Museum quality group and comes to you with everything in the pictures. Both units and all of their extra's (see pictures) fit into the green metal cases shown and they will be shipped in those cases.
** This group unit was purchased at an estate sale and we were excited to get it!  So rare and unusual that we simply could not pass it up!
The tellurometer was the first successful microwave electronic distance measurement equipment. The name derives from the Latin tellus, meaning Earth.
**  We did take the side panels off, and discovered that they are as clean on the inside as they are on the outside. Everything seems to be there and we did not see any missing parts or pieces. The two pie shaped metal containers are chucked full of parts and according to the label on the inside of each container, that is the was they came originally. NO TESTING HAS BEEN DONE.
** Comes with everything shown in the pictures. We found the eye shadow pieces in the bottom of the case, they are not in the pictures, but, will be included.
**** Condition; Shows light usage, and tender care, and is very nice for the age of this group! The metal containers show usage marks and scratches on the outside as they have done a great job of protecting these two units! See pictures for condition.
We want to move these, so make a reasonable offer! The quality and condition is so nice that we hope that they go to a good collection out there!
**** Shipping in the lower 48 U.S. States to be 2.99 via FedEx. All will be shipped in the two original metal containers that they were found in!
