Pair antique c1930s Copper Exterior Jelly Jar Porch Lights Sconces Restored.
Pair of quality, well made antique 1930s copper nautical style light sconce fixtures. No maker stamp but I did find a picture from my antique Midwest supplier catalog. (last picture) Fixtures came to me painted black. Paint was removed and hidden underneath was this fantastic stained copper finish. Light was cleaned and sprayed with a coat of laquer finish. Jelly jar style glass is all original and there are no breaks or cracks only flea bites around top and bottom edge. Flea bites can barely be seen in fixture housing. The mounting canopy to one fixture was slightly creased at the top. I did straighten this and will look nice when mounted. Copper patina finish is really nice but not perfect. There are signs of past weathering throughout which give lights plenty of character.
Lights have been totally rewired with new vintage style lipped porcelain lamp sockets by Leviton.
