    M1910A1 Coastal Artillery Telescope.
    Serial #1895
    Production year 1942
    Approximately 25 inches long Brass
    The front lens cats cover is gone. Probably the same hit that dented the front of the scope. There is NO damage to the lens.
    The eye piece is 10x
    The elevation arm was cut by some idiot
    The open sights are intact and not bent
    It’s been painted a silver-gray but on the brass not over the Army olive drab.
    Seems like there are two types of 1910A1 telescopes. Some have an illuminator and an adjustable sighting post.this ones does not and there are no provisions for it. Made by Frankfort Arsenal maybe the govt went cheap. The others are W & L.E. Gurley . I’ve seen both manufacturers with both configurations.
