ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU IRIDESCENT IRIS ART GLASS TABLE LAMP SHADE 10" FITTER DOME

Here we have an original early 1900's era ~ ART NOUVEAU era DOME FORM LAMP "SHADE ONLY" FOR A TABLE LAMP BASE ~. The shade measures approximately 9 3/4 inches across at the fitter to fit a 10" shade holder. The total size of the shade is approximately 12 inches across by about 6 inches tall. Guaranteed a good early shade that is over 100 year old.  The iris flowers and leaves are applied on the glass, and have like an iridescent quality to the colors. The main portion of the shade is frosted. The over condition is pretty decent with no chips! There are a few little paint splatters and some wear to the frosted portion and some wear to the applied floral design here and there from age and use. The shade is definitely for a table lamp base and was not designed for a hanging or ceiling shade. There is no lip on the fitter for a ceiling fixture and the floral iris pattern is done so that it was designed for a table lamp base to be displayed with the dome portion up. If you had a nice base that would take a 10" fitter shade this would sure make for a nice table lamp.
