    Up for auction is a used Adam IHS Crane Scale Model IHS10a 10,000 Pound Capacity . The scale is in pretty good condition with a little bit of surface rust on the back. Please refer to the pictures provided
    below
    for more details on the condition of the item.
    We were able to test this scale by connecting it to a 7.2VDC power supply (
    not included
    ). The scale powered right up, and we were then able to use some weights for testing. The scale seemed to respond well to the weights and registered the weight fairly accurately. Because we did not test this scale with a very heavy load (only about 50 pounds) the weight wasn't exact, but it was within the range that the scale states.
    After checking that the scale was working when connected to the power supply we charged the battery outside of the scale. After reassembling the scale the unit worked as it should on battery power alone.
    We are not sure if the on board battery charger is working because the battery light never came on. It is possible that the indicator light is not working, however we are unable to verify this or the condition of the battery.
